why is there no proper Region 1 DVD release of
Drunken Master (1978)? this is mind boggling to me, when both the
hero and
villain are still alive to talk to about it.
apparently there is an R2 disc out (this is the cover) which features all this:

that's where the picture came from. it would be an easy thing and very marketable thing for someone like Dragon Dynasty to do a top notch job for a release over here. I'd buy it then.
