this is a cool show. it only lasted only 12 episodes, but used stop-motion for a lot of the monsters. it's not great animation, more like a Rankin-Bass type than even "Land of the Lost" but it's still really cool they tried something different.
this is the promo for Majin Hunter Mitsurgi, subtitled in English. three ninja use their powers to protect ancient Japan from evil demons. they look like time travelers, but it doesn't appear to be so. you gotta love a giant suit of armor taking on weird giant monsters.
