Ghost Rider (2007)

I have now seen both versions of this movie, the theatrical one and the extended edition.

I really enjoyed it.  so many people hated it- well, comic book fans, it seems, but I thought it was just like the 70s comic book (with a little of the lame 90s version thrown in).  it was dramatic and cornball all at the same time, with awkward lines and and some decent acting thrown in as well.

but it was straightforward in it's approach and I liked that.  I also liked Sam Elliott as Carter Slade, the original Ghost Rider.  it was a nice reference for us people who knew of the Western (non-spiritual) hero who had the name in the first place.

so I don't know what all the hate is about for this movie.
