this commercial aired ALL the time while I was growing up. every kid I knew could recite it by heart. it was later paid homage to in "Wayne's World II" which I was fully expecting.
of course, by the wife telling the customer what their secret is, she would be causing their business to lose costumers. because you can buy Calgon a lot cheaper than having someone else do your laundry.
