I loved Micronauts. I had so many of them, and when that stupid kid choked on some part of one of their toys, they all went on sale and I got a lot. of course, he ruined it for the rest of us. stupid kid.
they showed up in the US in 1976, and probably not until 77 or 78 in Colorado (always behind the curve of such things). we had no way of knowing they were actually a Japanese toy, complete with cartoon and all. this commercial is awesome, and "Galactic Warrior" could have been sued for gimmick infringement. but dang it would have sold a ton of toys over here!
