here's a really cool hero and cartoon that we sadly never got to see in the States. it was dubbed into English and shown in Australia, and possibly other places, but alas, none of those episodes have turned up yet.
I can only imagine what AIP-TV would have done with this cartoon. I wonder who gave it the name "Fantoman" for the other countries. possibly to capitalize on the popularity of The Phantom, I would think.

It could also be because of Fantômas. Given the Golden Bat's somewhat sinister appearance, it wouldn't surprise me.
