Adam Ant had a huge career in England long before most anyone in the States got to hear "Goody Two Shoes". Once the LP "Strip" came out this video made it's premiere on TBS' "Night Trax" in the wee hours of early 1984. They did explain that the album had been released two years earlier and this wasn't a truly new video.
Since I was hip and with it then, I knew that Adam and the Ants no longer existed, since Adam sacked them after the "Prince Charming" Tour, with the exception of exception guitarist Marco Pirroni. This is one of the better songs from the "Prince Charming" LP, so I thought it was great to hear. I still love Burundi drumming, and wish he hadn't ditched after "Friend or Foe".
