In the superhero starved 70s, I would watch anything that remotely resembled heroes. I was pretty happy that he started appearing on another of my favorite shows, the Electric Company. It got me to watch the show ALL the time, hoping Spidey would be on. I was a bit disappointed there wasn't more action, but it was Spider-man.
This episode actually appeared ON my birthday one year, so it's the one I remember. Well, the title, anyway. Looking past the limited budget, the music and the Birthday Bandit are kind of creepy. This episode actually features a bit of a tussle, so that's cool as well. You can watch a ton of them here.
