Mission Magic Intro 1973

I finally watched the first five episodes of this series. I've had the DVD set for some time, but never got around to opening it. It features a very young Rick Springfield singing the songs and lots of magic. Plus an annoying laughtrack.

Here's the opening. It was aired after 11 in CO, so I think it got pre-empted a lot for college football, as I only ever saw a handful of episodes. And there are only 16 in total! I'll have a more indepth review later.

Plus an annoying laughtrack.

Which is on par for the course when it comes to Filmation productions of this period.

Pretty much (let alone teenagers but I guess we ought to be thankful to have human characters at all aside from still needing to have animal sidekicks anyway.

since the Scooby sequels and knockoffs polluted the airways back then, there was ALWAYS an animal sidekick, usually smarter than the teenagers.
