to BW or not to BW

So I was doing some shopping on Amazon (Xmas gift card and all, don'tchaknow) and saw a zine called Monster! on sale.  Same publisher as Xenorama, and a smaller format, but in black and white on the inside.  I read a few issues of Monster! International back in the day, it was one of the main inspirations for me starting Xenorama.  It only cost $5!  That got me to wondering if I should start making Xenorama in b/w to lower the price.  So that's the topic of the day.

I wish I could add a poll here.  Might make things easier.  So would the readers rather have a cheaper magazine with black and white pictures, or go for the glamor of the full color and more expensive magazine?  I'm sure I could knock probably two dollars off the full price of an issue with black and white.

I really like the way these three issues have looked in color, but the main reason to buy them is to read them, right?  Any and all feedback is welcome here.  Perhaps for issue #17 I'll offer them in both formats and see if one is more popular than the other.  I'll make a note on the cover, or have my cover artist do it.

Oh, and the book I bought on Amazon?  I'll review it once it comes in..
