My computer died a slow death the other day, hence posts here may be fewer this month than norma. I'm not really fussed about it, though I was really getting back into writing regularly and now that's come to a (brief) end. Still, I think it'll be nice to get a new computer, and this one lasted almost 6 years, which is pretty good in computer time.
I do find it funny that my last computer probably had more memory and processing copacity than the not so reliable Hal 9000 ever did. Poor Hal. It's easy to parody 2001 one these days, since it is a bit pompous.
I'd like to see it again though, as it's probably been close to 30 years since I've seen it.
