Sven- Dead of Night (1977)
From Wiki- Dead of Night is a 1977 American made-for-television anthology horror film starring Ed Begley Jr., Anjanette Comer, Patrick Macnee, Horst Buchholz and Joan Hackett. Directed by Dan Curtis, the film consists of three stories written by Richard Matheson[1] (although the first segment, "Second Chance", was adapted from a story by Jack Finney[2]) much like the earlier Trilogy of Terror. The film originally premiered on NBC on March 29, 1977. Back to me- Wiki gives all three segments a synopses, but I am not going to do this. It was a pretty interesting movie, though one can see Dan Curtis was trying to emulate his earlier Trilogy.

HOTW- Wildcat
From Wiki- Orphaned during the Great Depression, Ted Grant found himself unemployed in the big city. One night, he saved "Socker" Smith, the heavyweight boxing champion, from a mugging. "Socker" took Ted under his wing, and soon Ted became a heavyweight boxing champion in his own right. He also became tangled unknowingly in his manager's sinister plans. His mentor "Socker" Smith was killed by Grant's managers Flint and Skinner who used a syringe, loaded with poison, in a boxing glove. The dose was only intended to slow down Smith, but the duo misjudged the potency. When Grant was arrested for the crime, Flint and Skinner, afraid that he might know what had really happened, arranged for the young fighter to be killed. Grant escaped the attempt and survived, but the policemen with him were killed. As a result, he became a fugitive. Later, he came upon a child who had been robbed of his Green Lantern comic. The boy, describing the mystery-man Green Lantern, inspired Grant to create the costume of a large black cat. He took the name Wildcat and vowed to clear his name. He brought Flint and Skinner to justice; the criminals were forced to confess, clearing Grant's name, and obtaining justice for Smith. Using the identity of Wildcat, Grant continued to fight crime.[6] By issue #4, Wildcat had a custom motorbike, the Cat-o-Cycle and a comedy sidekick named Stretch Skinner. Back to me!

Ramones- It's Alive (1977, released 1979)
From Wiki- It's Alive is the first live album by the American punk rock band the Ramones, titled after the 1974 horror film of the same name. It was recorded at the Rainbow Theatre in London on December 31, 1977, and released in April 1979 as a 2-LP set. The album draws from the band's first three studio albums: Ramones (1976), Leave Home (1977), and Rocket to Russia (1977). Four concerts during the UK tour were recorded, but the New
Year's Eve one was chosen because ten rows of seats were thrown at the
stage after the concert and it was considered the best of the
performances at the venue. Now back to me, the master of musical mayhem!

HOTW- The Jaguar (original)
From The Archie Comics Wiki- When Zoologist Ralph Hardy was on exploration, he noticed a white jaguar. Before he could pursue it, an earthquake occurred and a huge serpent-like dinosaur emerged from the cracked ground. He ran for safety inside the ruins of an Incan Temple. Once inside, he noticed the jaguar's tracks and followed them to an alter. Hanging off it, was a belt buckle with an emblem of a white jaguar. Hardley began to read the inscription on the wall, which noted only an animal lover could wear the buckle and be transformed into a human Jaguar. He also noticed another large mural depicting the monster serpent. As he continued to read about the history of the temple, he learned that the belt was created to stop the rampage of the creature, and that it was up to him to wear the belt and fulfill that destiny. back to me!

Kimba-casts
I saw a lot of Kimba when I was in West Virgina (WDCA Channel 20, greatest channel ever). I have written about the show here, and had been doing episode reviews about 12 years ago. Since I started the podcast, the Kimba episode overview I did has been the most popular one. Speed Racer is right behind Kimba as well. They have more than six times the combined listens than the third place episode. That makes me think I should talk more about Kimba. Well, it is only logical. However, I do not want to do an episode by episode sort of thing, since that would take a year.

From Gamespot- Atoma is a superherione who's only appearance was in issue 15 of the Joe Palooka comic. In
the issue, junior chemist Dusty Rhodes, from Anytown, USA, is
teleported to the future when he mixing chemicals in his basement. Joe
looks around to find the hero Atoma, who tells Dusty he accidentally

quote from Atoma is "It's not fair Dusty!! Though you may think this is a
perfect place it is from it. Some of us just live like slaves and the
governor is no better than your Hitler was. There's lots we must do, be
must tell about it another time!"

50 years of Land of the Lost!
Land of the Lost premiered on September 7th, 1974. To paraphrase a Beatles song: "It was fifty years ago today, Land of the Lost began to play!" While Grumpy didn't sing the song, we all sang along with Wesley. I will admit, I did miss the first episode for some reason. It was scheduled opposite Valley of the Dinosaurs and I think we were bouncing around all the new shows. That is my best guess after fiddy years. I think I was at a friend's house, since New Cartoon Saturday was an event back in the day. The worst part- aside from 17 new Scooby Doo clone shows, was trying to decide which show to watch for the first time.

Happy Birthday, Raquel Welch
From Wiki- Jo Raquel Welch (née Tejada; September 5, 1940 – February 15, 2023) was an American actress. Raquel Welch first gained attention for her role in Fantastic Voyage (1966), after which she signed a long-term contract with 20th Century Fox. They lent her contract to the British studio Hammer Film Productions, for whom she made One Million Years B.C. (1966). Although Welch had only three lines of dialogue in the film, images of her in the doe-skin bikini became bestselling posters that turned her into an international sex symbol. She later starred in Bedazzled (1967), Bandolero! (1968), 100 Rifles (1969), Myra Breckinridge (1970), Hannie Caulder (1971), Kansas City Bomber (1972), The Last of Sheila (1973), The Three Musketeers (1973), The Wild Party (1975), and Mother, Jugs & Speed (1976). She made several television variety specials.

HOTW- Red Tornado (Ma Hunkel)
From Wiki- In the original comics in the 1940s, Ma Hunkel is a working mother whose costume consists of longjohns and a cooking pot on her head. She adopts the identity of the Red Tornado to fight local criminals in her New York City neighborhood, inspired by her son's admiration for the superhero Green Lantern. The character's popularity was such that she was given a cameo in the first adventure of the Justice Society of America,
visiting the JSA's headquarters but being forced by a humorous mishap,
her pants splitting, to leave without having the chance to apply for
membership. Later Justice Society stories have declared Ma to be an
honorary member of the team. Me again (until the last paragraph):
