it's about cattlemen and settlers and political ambitions of one man (William Bishop as Jim Averell), setting each side against each other. trying to stop it is Alex Nicol as Sheriff Stan Blaine, who was a drifter before being "chosen" for the job by Averell.
O'Hara plays Kate Maxwell who has most of the brains in the movie. it's kind of a predictable story, but the actors make it work really well.
the print used on the DVD is gorgeous. the movie was shot in Agoura, California, USA, where lots of movies and shows were and are still filmed.
