living or dead

do they even do things like this any more?  I wonder if they thought characters in a serial (this is from the first Green Hornet serial) were based on actual living people.  seems like you rarely see this any more though.

    Yep. It's just at the very end of the credits in tiny type most of the time. And of course, there's the L&O shows...

    I think they are legally obligated to include that disclaimer.

    they would almost have to do that, though I am not sure why. we all know who and what their stories are based on.
