one of the many videos I enjoyed on Channel 12's "FM-TV" when it first was airing. there was just nothing that sounded like this on the radio at the time. nor was eMpTV playing it, at least not when I was watching (and in 1983, who wasn't watching music videos?).
Icehouse was an Australian band called "Flowers" at first, but due to the success of the song called "Icehouse" they took that name. later it became a vehicle for frontman Iva Davies, and he had some big success in the US in the late 80s. I like all their incarnations, though I do prefer this first album.
