I can only imagine what the Three Stooges would have been like had they been able to use kung fu. the carnage with all those weapons would be hilarious to watch. a three-sectional staff in Curly's hands... that's comedy gold there.
sadly, we will never get to see that. however, Jackie Chan, Samo Hung and Yuen Biao provide us with an homage in possibly their best movie together, "Dragons Forever". and it's just an amazing bit of comedy fighting. not a single shot of "bullet time" or that slowed down speed up thing that filmmakers seem to think every movie needs now. just some amazingly athletic fighting.
