it's not secret I love
The Forbidden Planet. the actors are great, the effects are awesome and the soundtrack is unusually weird. all positive points. and that it's such a major influence on Star Trek doesn't hurt.
I also really love the ship- the Planet Cruiser C57-D is a great, classic design. it's not the most original ship, but it makes sense for the movie.
these are just opening shots in the movie. no real reason other than they look cool.
