saw this one once or twice as a kid... it reminded me of The Martian Chronicles even then. I like the movie for what it is, though, and it has some really cool effects. I remember seeing it after I had tried making my own laser effects on film, by scratching lines into the actual film. the lasers in this movie were accomplished the same way!
it's got a nice variety of critters in it as well, including the weird stop-motion one, which it's probably most famous for. this movie also comes with it's own theme song. which is pretty cool, actually. someone should gather these various songs together and make a CD. it could sell hundreds of copies.
