one of my favorite bands from the 80s- I had their first three albums which I really enjoyed. the music was good and the lyrics were funny, fascinating and somewhat controversial, depending on the song. the band was from Kansas City, MO, and still are, from what I can tell.
they never made it big and faded from the popular music scene before the 80s were over. they kept making music though, and still tour and play all over the world. this is the video for "Downstream" from their first LP.
