OK, so they are not hearts, but again, there's a reason! I've always thought the use of the word "gang" is unusual. heroes never called themselves a gang, at least not as a name. of course, villains, back in the day, always had to let you know they were evil, or for injustice, or what have you. the recent cartoon versions of the Royal Flush have all been pretty interesting and well done. I notice they didn't use the Super Friends or Super Powers version though!
you would have thought that the producers of the live action Batman series might have used this gang with the Joker, since they first appeared in the JLA in 1966. I bet they didn't read anything other than a few Batman comic books though. could have been a fun two parter!
