or Spiga, if you will. this is just a short clip from SON OF GODZILLA, but one has to marvel at the wirework used for the humongous spider puppet. there had to be at least 10 wires moving the spider about, and how they didn't get them tangled up is beyond me.
another cool thing is the snowy setting- you don't see that much in monster movies, at least from that time period. it probably helped hide some of the wires, though I never saw any during the day time scenes. but I never look for them, in any movie. what's the point?
