here's the no longer rare TV spot for the final first series Godzilla movie. I don't think it ever got a large theatrical release, and the history of the movie, from TV to theaters and back is so convoluted that I'm not about to get into it right now. it's a fun spot, short and to the point. it would have worked on me!
I did get to see a really nice 35mm print of this about 15 years ago in a theater. there's really nothing like seeing a Godzilla movie like that. I don't remember if it was edited or not now, since it was quite some time ago.
