In memory of Charles M. Schulz, 11/26/1922—2/12/2000

Charles M Schulz passed away today 16 years ago.  I never met the man, but he had a huge impact on my life, as Peanuts books were always around in my world.  Everyone loved them, even adults.  They weren't always complete from day one, as the books dropped some days and were more "best ofs" but that didn't matter, we read them all the time.

Sometimes we wondered why the kids and Snoopy looked a little different at times, but that became apparent as we got older.  Styles change.  I always wanted to read every strip chronologically, but that wouldn't happen until much later.

Schulz taught me how much a google was when I was young, and he also had a bunch of 8 year olds running around saying gauche properly and even better, using it properly.  We said it so much our parents had to look it up to see what it meant.

RIP Charles Schulz, and thank you again for everything.
