Soon the second edition of Marine Boy will be published, it's in the process of being reviewed now but should be approved later on today. I hope!
It will be easy to distinguish editions, as the second edition is smaller, has more pages and a different back cover. And by more pages, I mean A LOT more- nearly triple the page count from the first edition. So I'm not really worried about any confusion there. I'm a lot happier with it being in a smaller format, I must say. I think the pictures look better overall. I'm very pleased with the way this came out. After almost 20 years of work, it's about time to call this finished!
I'm still not sure what I am going to do for the first edition. I really don't want it competing with the second one. I'm going to order a few copies as to archive, or handout or something, but I think as soon as this second one is live I'm going to suspend publication. All those first editions will now become collectors items! How about that?
It's been a good month for the Xenorama brand. A great new issue is ready, and this new (and hopefully final) version of Marine Boy is done. I can't complain.
Hey -- did you indeed finish and publish the second edition of your Marine Boy book? I'd be interested in purchasing it (or the first edition if that's all that's available).
ReplyDeleteI did get the second edition published. I am currently working on a black and white special edition, which will cost less and contain even more material!
