Secret Invasion 01- Resurection

 

IN WHICH we find out that there are renegade Skrulls living on Earth that want to claim our fair planet for themselves.  This brings Nick Fury back to Earth from S.A.B.R.E (yes, a satellite in space) to investigate.  Where are the other Avengers or superheroes that could help him?  The President of the US doesn't like Nick going rogue in Russia, and tells Colonel Rhodes to stop Fury.  The renegade Skrulls are terrorists, and want the humans to kill themselves off.  This means bombs.

I have never liked the Skrulls.  They haven never been presented heroically in the comics, save for Princess Anelle.  That may have changed in the last twenty years.  It was nice to see them portrayed sympathetically in Captain Marvel.  I never liked the Kree much either, for that matter.  The crux of the matter is the blip, and that the Skrulls haven't been able to find a new planet to live on.

Where are the superheroes?  This better be answered.  Also, I don't think Agent Hill is dead.
