Frankenstein almost gets caught stealing another corpse, and flees back to his homeland. His assistant Hans helps him find his former creation. It is frozen in ice. Frankenstein tries to revive it, but the brain is unresponsive. He obtains the service of Zoltan, a hypnotist. Ol' Zoltan makes the creature obey him, rather than Frankenstein. Lots of mayhem ensues, with the inevitable conclusion. That is, until the next movie.This is a decent movie, but it has a lot of plot elements going on in it. There isn't any continuity with the previous film, and I don't know about the fourth movie. Due to a deal with Universal, the creature got to look like Karloff's monster. It is a good looking thing, for sure. The movie is just... adequate. I'm not sure how I would have responded to it as a kid.
