From Wiki- Gregory Stanley Kihn (July 10, 1949 – August 13, 2024) was an American rock musician, radio personality, and novelist. He founded and led the Greg Kihn Band and he wrote several popular horror novels. He is best known for the hits "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)" in 1981 and "Jeopardy" in 1983. Me again:
Greg was a staple on the radio for about five years in the 80s. The two songs above were his most popular, though he had a few more minor hits, including this one/ He also was self aware enough to appear in Weird Al's (I Lost on) Jeopardy video, which was a nice fun surprise. I need more of his music in my collection. Kihn died from complications of Alzheimer's disease in the San Francisco Bay Area, on August 13, 2024, at the age of 75.
