From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia- Donna Troy is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She is the original Wonder Girl and later temporarily adopts another identity, Troia. Created by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, she first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #60 (July 1965). Donna has been commonly featured in stories involving the Teen Titans, which she originally joined during their second adventure and is since depicted as a founding member of the team. Back to me:
I really liked the Teen Titans, when I could find the books. The ones I did read were later in the run, which featured some of the newer characters. I didn't realize how complicated Donna's backstory was, or was about to become (thank you Crisis). Like many characters, I feel sorry for Donna now, though she should grow out of the "Wonder Girl" nom de guerre, that does make sense. She got animated long before Diana did as well. You just never know!
