Happy 5th Birthday, Kaida!

My crazy, goofy little girl starts her next voyage around the sun today.  She's been with us for almost four years, and has so much personality.  I wasn't sure she would even like me when I brought her home.  It didn't take her long to come out of her shell, and she even plays with Emerald.  Sometimes they do have a frank exchange of ideas, but most of the time they get along well.  She hasn't even been a destroyer for quite a while.  We do appreciate that.

I have never had a cat who wants to be picked up and held like this one.  Never.  I love holding her, but she would let me cart her about all day, at least until she doesn't want me to any more.  She's a true tortie.  I love her so much.
