it's a great children's fantasy movie, but the US title isn't very appropriate. nor is the Japanese one, really. Godzilla on Monster Island would have been a better title.

Godzilla's Revenge (1969)
I love this movie, but I can understand why some US fans were a bit let down after seeing the trailer. it IS a bit misleading!

I've always loved this movie,David;Ishiro Honda's intention here was to make a Godzilla flick small fry could really get into,&he succeeded adimrably.Gabara's a cool monster design,IMO&I never got the vicious,vindictive hate ''serious'' G-nerds seem to have for him(as well as for Megalon,for that matter...)
