Here's the English opening and closing of a cartoon that I'd never heard of until the mid-90s. I got a VHS tape of four episodes and it's pretty fun. I'd like to see some more episodes, since that tape has long since disappeared. The quality, as one might expect, was not very good, though back then you didn't mind so much.
If I remember correctly the episodes ended with LA's KCOP Channel 13 logo, and it seems to me I have seen a tv guide listing for the show at some point. That was a long time ago. The theme is a catchy if weirdly constructed little number. I wonder if more than 20 episodes even exist in English now. It would be a shame to lose this creation by Tezuka, since Kimba and Astro are still around.

Someone out there in Spain had actual dupe negatives of a number of episodes in his collection he tried to sell on eBay once.
