By 1974, The X-Men had been canceled... twice. The first time was after their original run ended, then the second time was when they had gone to reprints. They were barely popular enough to last 66 issues, until 1970. The next batch of issues were all reprints, until 1975, when the All New All Different X-Men showed up in Giant Size X-Men #1. The series started up at issue #94, as a bi-monthly book. Imagine that. It took this book three years to become a monthly issue.
This collection features all those stories. I had read most of them, since I started collecting The X-Men in earnest at issue #104. But the team ups and the Iron Fist stories were new to me. I have that issue of FOOM in my collection, but it is rather worn. Marvel should reprint them!
