Kamen Rider Live 2000

I can't believe it's been 13 years since this was released.  how does the time go so fast?  and now there's a lot more Kamen Rider songs out there.  I think I've seen that this sort of show has been put on again in 2004, and maybe there were some others done with the other great superhero songs that aren't Rider related.  that I don't know about, and haven't seen anything related to them, so your guess is as good as mine.  the most fun part of the whole thing is the stage show, with Riders 1,2 and V3 showing up to battle the minions of Shocker.  more on that in a moment.


anyway. this is chock full of great songs and artists.  I'm not incredibly impressed with Rider Chips but they are a competent band.  it's great fun seeing Mitsuko Horie perform,.  she must have been about 12 when she started singing these songs, she doesn't look old at all.  she has a stage presence that blows away most every one else that performs, with about three exceptions.  guess who they are?

the stage battle is a lot of fun.  Ikadevil is menacing the crowd and then Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider 1 (Hiroshi Fujioka) shows up.  Nigo Rider also appears and they battle the aforementioned minions.  later, when the forces of evil appear to be too much for our heroes, Shiro Kazami/Kamen Rider V3 (Hiroshi Miyauchi) also appears to help out.  and then at the end, the newest Rider at the time, Kuuga shows up to defeat Ikadevil.

both Fuijioka and Miyauchi sing their respect theme songs as well.
