This was the band's last big success in the 80s, as they broke up shortly after this LP was released. I didn't care much for the song when it came out, as I preferred the "new wave" sound the had brought Blondie to the table. Wait, what disco song? But I understand that a band wants to expand it's musical sound.
I like the song more now, and the video is very cute. It isn't my favorite song of theirs, still, but it's fun. When they regrouped in the late 90s they went back to their more traditional sound, which by then was called "classic rock".
