Gamakujira (literally "toad whale") eats pearls. That and its gigantic size are the only thing wrong about it. It is pretty harmless otherwise. It has some kind of corrosive mist or spray it can use as a defense. The humans, needing pearls for some reason, have to stop the beast, though of course their efforts prove fruitless. The Science Patrol even shoots a rocket into the poor creature before it meets its untimely end.
This episode is directed by Akio Jissoji, so it bears his unique directing style- lots of close ups, use of negative space and such. His episodes are always worth a look. However, the episode is problematic for modern viewers. Gamakujira is guilty of nothing more than existing. And thanks to greed for pearls, it has to be destroyed. Fuji is also not portrayed well, as being upset with the monster for eating all the pearls. It is also the only episode where Ultraman does not fight the monster. Episode 14
