What, did Stan Lee write that alliterative title? Green Arrow guest starred in that episode from the first season of Super Friends. A well meaning but misguided scientist, Dr. Hiram Gulliver, invents a way to shrink all humanity down to two inches tall. This will solve the population problem. He is not wrong, but he didn't figure in all the damage it would cause, plus people would turn into food sources for larger animals now. Or perhaps he did? Green Arrow is called in to help rescue the main members of the Justice League, and they manage to get Gulliver to see the error of his ways.
This is a good episode of the first season. GA doesn't show up until the third act, but then he kind of takes over the show. Norman Alden provided the voice of GA and sounds like he should. This marks Green Arrow's first animated appearance, and it is the best of the three guest stars. The episode is not marred by Ted Knight's bombastic over-narration, as the final episode was. We didn't need the narrator to tell us what is happening in every scene we see. The group is referred to the Justice League of America throughout the episode, rather than the Super Friends.
Most of the episodes of the first season did not have true villains. It was people who saw the error of their ways, and went off to pay their debt to society.
