It's been 55 years since the Birth Of Ultraman special aired on television. The series premiered the following week. The rest really is history. It's one of the most successful franchises that has ever been created, and the series has been aired around the world. It really is that popular. Well, at least in most of the world.As far as I know, it never aired in Colorado. I only saw it in West Virginia, courtesy of WDCA Channel 20, the greatest station ever. I'm grateful for that, but I was sure jealous of my cousins who got see all these great shows all the time.
Who knew a giant monster fighter from a distant star would have been so popular?
