When I first heard about this series I was rather skeptical about the whole thing. Thunderbirds is a classic series, really well done with amazing models and puppetry. The cast was excellent with great scripts. It was also very much a product of it's time, which is an integral part of the charm of the show. The unwatchable movie version in 2004 didn't help matters at all. However, once I started watching it I was pleasantly surprised. It's a fun show, and worthy of the name Thunderbirds.
It's sort of a contu\ination of the original series, with all the same characters, though a few have been changed. Tin-tin has a different name and is the resident badass of the team. She pilots Thunderbird 6, though it's never called that. The models of the ships all look exactly the same, and they haven't added much more to them. The characters are all CG now, which allows for more interaction with each other and more fighting action. The characters all look fine, but they have the standard look that most CG people have. They also have continuing plotlines going through the series- Kayo (Tin-tin) being related to The Hood, for the most part. They are up to season 5, and I am only to season 3. I do miss the rock snakes, though.
