A talented transplant doctor, who is also a bigot, is dying. He has already successfully transferred one ape's head onto another gorilla's body, so he plans to transfer his own head onto a healthy human body. His team can't find a suitable body in time, so they end up with Rosie Greer. This goes as well as can be expected. Rosie is a wrongly convicted killer, so off he goes to find the witness to clear his name. The police are chasing the thing with two heads, and wasting a lot of time and money. Eventually everything gets settled up.
This is an interesting movie. It is funny, sometimes accidentally, sometimes on purpose. The scene where the thing is getting away on a dirt bike and suddenly has to turn around when ten cop cars show up. Speaking of the chase scene, it goes on forever. It reeks of padding. I went to clean the litterboxes after the first five minutes. Even Sven remarked on it.
So I liked the movie OK, but it kind of meanders everywhere. Better than the Incredible Two-Headed Transplant, anyway, but it is no Manster.
