I think they wrote the entire movie around this one joke. it's so funny. and that line is perfectly delivered. people who don't like this Batman just didn't get it at all.
the whole scene is shot with the exact right amount of tension and comedy, and the music suits it perfectly. I still remember the first time I saw it, on the big screen, I was really quite worried about my hero. I should have known he would be safe.
