The Eliminators 1986

From Wiki- Eliminators is a 1986 science fiction action film directed by Peter Manoogian, starring Andrew Prine, Denise Crosby and Patrick Reynolds. The plot centers on a "Mandroid" constructed by an evil scientist from the body of a downed pilot, who teams up with the scientist responsible for android technology, her pet robot Spot, a riverboat guide and a martial arts warrior. Back to me: It is a Charles Band movie, so that means it was gonna be at least interesting.  It has a little bit of everything popular from the time frame in it, and even a Star Trek connection.  Well, a soon to be Star Trek connection, anyway.

843. The Incredible Invasion of the Nefarious Neptune Men!

The movie works pretty well overall, though some slight editing could have enhanced its undeserved reputation.

The Code of Doc Savage

I am watching a fan edit of the 1975 Doc Savage movie, which tries to curtail some of the sillier things in the movie.  I probably would have loved the movie had I seen it at age ten, in 1975.

708. Takin' a Dive with The Warlords of Atlantis! (1978 review)

This movie works really well overall.  It is very pulpy, yet very original, at least as far as movies go.

Viking women and what?

Never saw this growing up, unlike Teenage Caveman, but I bet I would have really liked it around age 12-13.

What do you think?  Could all these ingredients make for a feature movie?  We sure are not certain!

Wild Wild West 1065-1969

From Wiki- The Wild Wild West told the story of two Secret Service agents: the fearless and handsome James West (played by Robert Conrad), and Artemus Gordon (played by Ross Martin), a brilliant gadgeteer and master of disguise. Their mission was to protect President Ulysses S. Grant and the United States from all manner of dangerous threats. The agents traveled in luxury aboard their own train, the Wanderer, equipped with everything from a stable car to a laboratory.

Legend of the Lost (1957)

From Wiki- In Timbuktu, experienced guide Joe January (John Wayne) reluctantly joins a Saharan treasure hunting expedition led by Paul Bonnard (Rossano Brazzi), a man obsessed with confirming his dead father's claim to have found a lost city. Dita (Sophia Loren), a woman of dubious reputation, becomes infatuated with Paul and his willingness to overlook her past. She invites herself along, despite Joe's protests. During the tough, dry ordeal, Joe and Dita become attracted to each other, raising tensions.  Things naturally go south when they find the place.

At the Earths Core (1976)

We here at Xenorama have started a podcast called The X7 Adventures.  This idea has been percolating for some time now, but the time has finally come to pull the trigger.  We have two episodes (and an older one from a time long ago) up.  We know that everyone does have a podcast these days, but they come and go like the wind.  It takes time and energy to produce one.  Currently, ours is very much like a live studio recording, meaning that while we have notes, we also might make an occasional slip up.  We will correct it, but at this time our equipment is very basic.  Depending on what happens, we may improve that in the future.  Mostly we are doing some deeper dives into the same things you see here.
