Season One Episode One of The Adventures of Superman is an origin story.  It isn't quite as concise as the first issue of Action Comics was, but manages to get it all done in 25 minutes.

830. Dinosaur! from 1985 is super!

This is an excellent documentary from 1985. The host is pretty super as well!

This is such a fun romp, I wish I had seen it in the theaters in the 70s when it was released in the States!

I Fantastici Tre Supermen (1967)

From Wiki- The Three Fantastic Supermen was conceived during the period of a superhero film cycle during the mid-1960s in Italy.^[2] Howard Hughes described The Three Fantastic Supermen as being patterned after the film Superargo and the Faceless Giants.^[3] The director Gianfranco Parolini had worked in several genres including sword-and-sandal films where there are more than one hero helping each other achieve their goals. ^[2] He also commented on the stunts in the film, noting that they were done on set with actor Aldo Canti having to jump out of 20 feet high window, jump into a trampoline and jump into a truck which was moving at full speed.^[4]  Back to me:

737. Superman 1988 Finale: 10-13!

                         It is the final episode featuring the Superman series from 1988.  It was slightly ahead of its time, as superhero cartoons would explode in about five years.

                         We are almost done with this series- this is the penultimate episode!  They should have had more super guest stars.

                 This is a pretty decent Saturday morning adaptation of Superman, but alas, it just didn't have enough action.

                   This musical is something else.  I wonder how it was received back in 1975,  I wouldn't know.

This is... Superman?

 On ABC TV in 1975 it sure was.  David Wilson made a decent enough Superman, but his Clark Kent was... an interesting choice.

 Superman turns 90 in a little over two and a half years.  I am trying to get ahead of the celebrations, since there is so much to cover about Kal-El.

Dinosaur! 1985

Dinosaur! is a 1985 American television documentary film about dinosaurs. It was first broadcast in the United States on November 5, 1985, on CBS.^[1] Directed by Robert Guenette and written by Steven Paul Mark, Dinosaur! was hosted by American actor Christopher Reeve, who some years before had played the leading role in Superman.  In 1991, another documentary, also titled Dinosaur! though not related, was hosted on A&E by the CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite.^[2][3]  Jointly with Reeve's narration, the documentary shows special effects scenes which reconstruct dinosaurs and their era, along with interviews with the most famous paleontologists at the time of the documentary shooting, including Jack Horner, Robert Bakker, Phil Currie, and Dale Russell.Back to me:

HOTW- Underdog

 

From Wiki- Underdog, also known as The Underdog Show, is an American Saturday morning animated television series that ran from October 3, 1964, to March 4, 1967,^[1] starting on the NBC network until 1966, with the rest of the run on CBS, under the primary sponsorship of General Mills, for a run of 62 episodes.^[2][3] It is one of the early Saturday morning cartoons. The show went into syndication starting in 1969.  Underdog, Shoeshine Boy's heroic alter ego, appears whenever love interest Sweet Polly Purebred is being victimized by such villains as Simon Bar Sinister or Riff Raff. Underdog nearly always speaks in rhyming couplets,^[4] as in "There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!" His voice was supplied by Wally Cox. When appearing as Shoeshine Boy, he described himself as "humble, and loveable"; possibly a tongue-in-cheek reference to "mild-mannered reporter" Clark Kent from the opening narration of the Adventures of Superman television series.                     Huh, didn't know I had an "Italy" label, but since I do talk a lot about peplum movies here, it makes sense.

                   There was a lot of hype about this way back in 1976, and the book lived up to it- after a few readings.

                As far as first original movies (yes, I know about the serials) this one is pretty good, all things considered.

HOTW (or decade): Surpreme

From Wiki- Given free rein over Supreme and the wider Maximum (later Awesome) universe, Moore created a storyline to both entirely reinvent the character's world, and meld it with Liefeld's extant continuity. In Moore's first issue, Supreme returns to Earth and discovers that he is living in a new revision of reality.

The new version of Supreme has a secret identity as Ethan Crane, a mild-mannered artist for Dazzle Comics whose powers are a result of a childhood exposure to a meteorite made of Supremium, an element which can alter reality. When not saving the world as a superhero, Crane illustrates the adventures of Omni-Man, a Supreme-like character being reintroduced with a change of writers.

Echoing this change, Supreme encounters a number of previous/retired and parallel iterations of himself living in another reality, called the "Supremacy." The Supremacy is a form of afterlife for characters whose stories had ended or have been written out of current continuity. After experiencing amnesia, Supreme's returning memories are told on the page in flashback form revising and ret-conning the character's complex and oft-rewritten backstory, often in pastiche style evoking different periods of comics history.

Darius Dax, a Lex Luthor-like evil genius and Supreme's antagonist, is introduced in this storyline. Dax dies twice in the series, the first time in prison from lymphatic cancer caused by exposure to Supremium.  Back to me:
