994. The digital Dororo (2007) review!

You can see my original review from several years ago.  Pretty much the same!

Dororo (2007) ORIGINAL TRAILER [ENG SUB]

This was a pretty fun, if long, movie.  I have reviewed it here before, some time ago.

Dororo 2007

I watched this about 16 years ago (how did that happen) and enjoyed it more than I thought I would.  I have also watched the original cartoon.

952. The wild When Tae Kwon Do Strikes review!

There should be a comedy meter for martial arts movies.

When Tae Kwon Do Strikes 1973

I have seen this once before, I think from Sinister Sinema, in "sinema-scope" back in the day.  I remember liking it.

Royal Warriors 1986

This is an Academy Award® winning Michelle Yeoh movie I have never seen.  It is pretty good, and fun to see Hiroyuki Sanada as well.  Still, with his family showing up in Hong Kong, one can guess what is about to happen.  I am nearly 30 minutes into the movie, which tracks for the oncoming tragedy.  Spoiler alert (2hich should surprise no one):

903. The honest Heroic Trio review!

Yep, a review for a movie from 1993!  What a show it is!

The Heroic Trio, starring:

Had ANYONE told me that Michelle Yeoh would get an Academy Award in 1993, I would still be laughing.

895. The wild Watari, Ninja Boy review!

In which X7 looks at a really fun ninja movie, Watari, Ninja Boy!

Watari, Ninja Boy

This is one wild movie.  Look forward to the review shortly!

889. The Fatal Flying Guillotine review!

Two very different flying guillotines from the originals.

875. The exploitative Eliminators review! 1986

The 80s sure were a fun time for movies, even with all the excesses!

868. The titanic Treasure Hunters review!

It sure is titanic, all right!

861. The titanic Tattooed Dragon review! 1973

Here we have an odd and somewhat lowkey Wang Yu movie, made by Golden Harvest.

The Tattooed Dragon trailer

I have a "trailer" for this movie that is five frikkin' minutes, but this one is the English release.

847. The Wild Warriors Two of 1978 review!

This is an excellent movie.  I wish Sammo had made one about Choy Li Fut!

833 The Sensational Sister Street Fighter of 1974!

The first of "four" movies starring Etsuko Shihomi, it is quite good and action-packed.

819. Days of our Dragons Forever (1988)

I really want to like this movie more often than I do.  The action scenes are great, but...

Two Champions of Shaolin vs the Wu Tang! 1980

OK, this is twice now that I have forgotten to schedule the podcast.

784. Iron Monkey (1993) review pt. 2

Here's the finale of this glorious superhero martial arts movie!
