The Kids from Caper - "Phantom of the Drive-In"

this is actually the third part of the episode. anyway, this show, "The Kids from C.A.P.E.R." ran on NBC starting in the fall of 1976. it was done by Don Kirshner, and fashioned after the Monkees. the Kids were sleuths and crime fighters, and told corny jokes and sang pleasant if bland and innocuous pop songs. it has a small and loyal following. the acronym was odd, as that fad had faded years before.

I'd like to see some complete episodes again, but it's doubtful this will ever actually be released on legit DVD. it's pretty silly humor, but it's not awful. this part includes the one thing all of us that watched the show loved, Bugs becoming incoherent and violent upon hearing the word "bananas". I'd probably buy a set, just because I liked the show a lot. and I do have the music from the LP that was released.
