Adventures into the Unknown! #13

I sure would have bought this right off the stand, had I seen it and been alive to see it.  It was published in August of 1950, so there was no chance of finding it on a spinner rack.  However, I would have been disappointed.  Lots of semi-horror stories and sci-fi stuff, but not a dinosaur attacking a city at all.  There is an octopus style alien which seems to have a happy ending for all, so that would have been fun.  I would have wondered why there was no dinosaur story, but now I know the cover was to catch the eyes of young readers (like me),

I found a near complete run of this book at ComicBookPlus.com, which is a great site of old public domain comic books.  Great stuff there!
