this movie was released on June 4, 1982. here's the trailer for it. it, along with STIV are probably the two best Trek movies made. I saw it twice in the theaters and still love it. I can only hope the new "trek" movies don't include Khan. why would you want to try to top this? his story has been told, there's no need to tell it once again.
after the initial disappointment of the first Trek movie, I was really happy to see this one. and that's even with the ending! in the days before internet spoilers, I don't know if ANYONE had seen it coming. I don't even remember hearing rumors of it back then. yes, I'm still being vague, since there may be someone out there who hasn't seen it. have tissues ready.
