HOTW- The Vision (Timely)

From Wiki- Vision (Aarkus) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by the writer Joe Simon and artist Jack Kirby, the character first appeared during the Golden Age of comic books in Marvel Mystery Comics #13 (Nov. 1940), published by Marvel predecessor Timely Comics.[1]  The Golden Age Vision, also known as Aarkus, is an alien law enforcement officer from a dimension called Smokeworld.[3] While Aarkus is looking for a suitable place to exile a prisoner, he is accidentally contacted by Earth scientist Markham Erickson. Leaving the prisoner on the planet Jupiter, Aarkus accepts Erickson's invitation to fight crime on Earth.[4] Aarkus does so for several years, although during World War II he is briefly manipulated by the Axis powers into fighting the Allies. The superhero team the Invaders help Aarkus realize his mistake.[5]  In The Avengers #97 (March 1972), Rick Jones summons Vision, among other Golden Age heroes, to assist the Avengers during the Kree–Skrull War.[6] Back to me:

Imagine this one's surprise to find out Marvel reused many of their older characters in new settings.  Not the same ones, but many with the same names or very similar gimmicks- The Angel, The Whizzer, The Blazing Skull, Mercury and the Vision.  I like Aarkus a lot, and I have talked about him before.  I would love a collection of his original stories, but I doubt that is gonna happen any time soon.
