HOTW- Dr. Fate

From Wiki- Kent Nelson, the first and original incarnation of Doctor Fate, was created by Gardener Fox and Howard Sherman during the Golden Age of Comic Books. Making his debut in More Fun Comics #55 (May 1940), Kent Nelson is widely recognized as the primary and most iconic version of the character. He has played significant roles as both the main character and a major supporting character in various Doctor Fate titles throughout the years. Kent Nelson was also a founding member of the Justice Society of America, All-Star Squadron, and different Justice League teams.

I met Dr. Fate in the first JLA-JSA team up.  I didn't know much about him, but dang, he sure had a cool costume.  They have done a lot with Fate and Nabu and all kinds of legacy heroes, but this first one is the best.  I quite enjoyed Pierce Brosnan's portrayal of him in the Black Adam movie as well.  A series could have been fun, if they managed to keep a balance between magic and superheroes.
