great suffering cats

though not my cats, they never suffer. just sleep, mostly.

anyway, it's almost been another month. how the heck does this happen? the best intentions. i need to focus up- i "rack a discaprin" to use a South Park quote. if i set a time to write, work out and then have surf the internets, i'd make much better use of my day.

so that's what ima do. and then i can watch my fansubs of Gekiranger or what have you. this will start on the first of September. just in time for a vacation.

missed two months?

how on earth did i do that? i know i'm not that busy.

however, i have recently been getting re-inspired to work on the book again. getting the complete set in the finest quality has really helped- see this screen grab:it's the monster from episode three.
i have no idea why that first bit is underlined, but that's just the vagary of a computer. anyway, i grabbed several great shots from that episode, which i may use throughout the book.

though i wish i felt better today. Daci's birthday is also today, she is two years old. i'm a bit older than her. she's happily staring out the window, completely unaware it's her day of days.

the job is still getting settled, so the book is still on hold. not the best news for ya, but not the worst.

i had not realized i hadn't posted since the first of the year. le sigh. the new job is keeping me busy at the moment, so Marine Boy has been pushed back a bit. that would have been postworthy, eh?

many apologies for being so lame about the updates. life has a way of doing this to me (and others, i suspect).

the cover!

a great way to start the new year is the arrival of the cover of the book! very colorful and action-packed, with the main characters and a monster! that's pretty much the final physical component i needed, so now i really have to bear down and get this thing done.

and i will now. then there are some other books to work on, including a cookbook, of all things!

does anyone have that promo video for Marine Boy? i found it on Youtube, but then it was yanked, and stupidly, i didn't bother to save it to the hard drive. so of course, i'd like to do it now, please.

it's hard to believe it's been most of the month since i've posted. i added a poll for fun here, just to see if i'm the only one talking to myself! but at least it's pertinent to the blog anyway.

drat!

i've just realized that i have a lot more to write about on the book. not like whole chapters, but about the actors, musical score, things like that that should be in there. stuff i hadn't even considered.

so now i'm only about 3/4 of the way done, instead of 7/8 or so. live and learn for a first time book writer!

i do want it to be as complete as possible, at least for this fan. and i can always do an update, as there will be stuff i find out after i finish for sure.
