Johnny Cypher poster

This is a Japanese piece of art starring Johnny Cypher with his Dimension Zero in full effect.  I wonder how that cartoon went over in Japan.  I like it a lot, but reviewing it might be a difficult task, since none of the episodes are connected.  Perhaps I do a series of these sort of series in the future.  I will ponder that a bit.

910. The brainy Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure review!

Villain of the Week- T.O. Morrow

From Wiki-

Using his technological prowess and his immense inventing abilities, T. O. Morrow (full name: Thomas Oscar Morrow) created a special "television set" that would allow him to see a century into the future. He would examine many of the futuristic instruments and then replicate them for use in his present time. Morrow spent a lot of time trying to perfect a time machine that he could use, but he was unsuccessful. The majority of his inventions were used to commit various types of crimes. Morrow utilized one of the inventions that he stole from the future that would allow him to create duplicates of other people. He used this invention to successfully create duplicates of Green Lantern.[3] Morrow did this because he was bored with how easy it was to commit crimes and he wanted to do something that would give both the Flash and Green Lantern a challenge. The three duplicate Green Lanterns each went off to different parts of the world to steal different items at the same time. They were easily stopped by the Flash's super-speed. Morrow was transported to Earth-Two and presumed dead.

Shortly after being defeated by the Flash and Green Lantern, Morrow created Red Tornado to infiltrate the Justice Society of America so that Morrow would be able to rob the 20th Century Museum.[4] His television screen of the future showed that he would be defeated by the JSA unless he could infiltrate the group and cause them to be unable to defend the museum. Red Tornado was inadvertently successful in stopping the JSA. Morrow returned to Earth-One and attacked the JLA. He was able to defeat them by using his inventions and he then placed them all in stasis. Red Tornado was upset about Morrow's deception that caused him to defeat the JSA and followed him to Earth-One. Red Tornado freed the members of the JLA and captured Morrow. Back to me:

906. The astute Aztec Mummy review!

This is the first movie starring Popoca, The Aztec Mummy.  It is rather derivative of Universal's Mummy movies, just with a Mexican flair.

Planet of Dinosaurs trailer

There are a lot of faux trailers out there for this movie.  Some are so well done it is hard to tell if they are from 1977.

901. The sizzling Square Pegs 17-20 review!

A fine, if far too early, end to this series.

Had ANYONE told me that Michelle Yeoh would get an Academy Award in 1993, I would still be laughing.

Villain of the Week- The Grim Reaper

From Wiki- Eric Williams debuted in The Avengers #52 May (1968), created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema.[8] He appeared in the 1982 Vision and the Scarlet Witch series,[9] and the 1985 Web of Spider-Man series.

Eric Williams, the brother of Simon Williams, was born in Paterson, New Jersey. He was constantly neglected by his parents, who gave all of their attention to Simon and failed to curb his violent tendencies. Eric eventually becomes a thief and member of the Maggia and moves to Las Vegas, while Simon takes over the family business, Williams Innovations.

After his company is faced with bankruptcy, partly due to competition with Stark Industries, Simon works with Eric and Heinrich Zemo to get revenge and is transformed into Wonder Man. Simon later sacrifices himself to save the Avengers, and Eric becomes the Grim Reaper out of grief.[15][16]

In his next appearance, the Grim Reaper confronts the Avengers with his original Lethal Legion, composed of the Living Laser, Power Man, Man-Ape, and the Swordsman. He later learns that the Vision was implanted with Simon's brain waves and refuses to harm him, leading to his defeat.[17]  Back to me:

Villain of the Week- Master of the Flying Guillotine, Fung-sheng Wu-chi

The  one-armed martial arts master is being stalked by an imperial assassin, the master of two fighters (the Tibetan lamas) who were killed in the previous film. The title refers to the assassin's weapon, the "flying guillotine", which resembles a hat with a bladed rim attached to a long chain. Upon enveloping one's head, the blades cleanly decapitate the victim with a quick pull of the chain. The Boxer's adversary is the assassin Fung-sheng Wu-chi, who is blind, is an expert user of the Flying Guillotine, and relies on others to identify one-armed men, whom he then kills.
